Abortion - a Crime against Humanity!
-
Throughout history, atrocities have taken place that eliminated large segments of the population by force. For example, the Holocaust, in the early half of the 20th century, saw the brutal elimination of millions of Jewish people, and others, merely because of religious prejudice. In every generation there is evidence of man's inhumanity to man.
2010 Theme - Abortion is a Crime against Humanity
"Each form of genocide, whether Holocaust, lynching, or abortion, differs from all the others in the motives and methods of its perpetrators. But each form of genocide is identical to all the others in that it involves the systematic slaughter, as state-sanctioned choice, of innocent, defenceless victims - while denying their personhood."
Rabbi Yehuda Levin, New York
In Canada, at this time in history, a serious attack on human dignity continues to take place. Babies in the womb are being killed without regard, by a society which considers them as less than human. What kind of society ends the lives of its unborn children with such disregard? Babies are dying because they are inconvenient, the "wrong" sex, less than perfect, too costly … and they are given no protection by our laws. Three hundred children die each day through abortion. And if the child survives the abortion, they are left at the mercy of others. Will they be allowed to live or will they be left to die?
LIFE
"I remember little of the abortion as a lot has been blacked out, but I do remember after, when the nurse told me to use the bathroom to make sure there was no noticeable part of my dead child left in me. It was horrific, similar to the worst nightmare, but it was REAL!"
Written by Frances, a member of Silent No More Awareness Campaign
Can a just and civilized society tolerate such a travesty? Babies who are aborted die by dismemberment ... being burned alive through saline abortions ... being thrown into garbage cans and left to starve to death. Abortion workers have told stories of hearing the cries of aborted babies from the trash can. Let us not kid ourselves - we are human and alive from the time of conception. Denial cannot justify a lie. At any other stage of human development this is called murder.
"Love says I sacrifice myself for the good of the other person. Abortion says I sacrifice the other person for the good of myself. ..."
