You're invited to attend a special Pledge Signing by MP Brad Trost, the pro-life, pro-family candidate who is running for the Leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada.

To demonstrate his concern and commitment to future generations of Canadians, MP Trost will speak on the necessity for governmental fiscal responsibility, answer questions from the audience, and sign the Future Generations Protection Pledge. The event is sponsored by the provocatively-named organization Generation Screwed.

Canada’s federal debt is now in the hundreds of billions of dollars, and with crushing interest costs to boot, future generations are being saddled with an insupportable burden. The Future Generations Protection Pledge will commit signatories to present balanced budgets to the House of Commons, maintain only balanced budgets at all times outside of war or natural disaster, and legislate a debt repayment schedule with a portion of annual revenues earmarked for eliminating the national debt.

We urge you to be present at this important event as MP Trost becomes a signatory to the Future Generations Protection Pledge. Young people are especially encourage to attend and show their support and appreciation for Leadership Candidate Trost's commitment to their future!
