By-Elections in Federal riding of Calgary Midnapore
On September 23, 2016, Conservative MP Jason Kenney stepped down from his seat in the federal riding of Calgary Midnapore, AB, which means a byelection in the riding must be called within six months (no later than March 22, 2017). With this MP's resignation, an opportunity to elect a pro-life, pro-family MP to the House of Commons now exists.
To take advantage of this opening, CLC is looking for supporters who will run, or know of a supportable candidate willing to run, in the riding. We encourage you to consider running yourself, or otherwise, to create a list of people you know who would make good candidates: perhaps a relative, a lawyer, financial advisor, business owner, doctor, provincial MLA, school trustee or City Councillor whom you know to be pro-life and pro-family, especially now that killing by euthanasia and assisted suicide has been legalized.
