Pierre Lemieux pledges to repeal anti-free speech legislation
Campaign Life Coalition is pleased to share with you a much-needed campaign promise by Conservative leadership contender, Pierre Lemieux. On January 23, the pro-life former MP seeking to replace Stephen Harper as party Leader, and to become Prime Minister, promised to repeal Justin Trudeau’s draconian Bill C-16.
The proposed legislation will destroy freedom of speech in Canada, if passed. The totalitarian bill, designed to force Canadians to bend their knee to the anti-scientific transgender ideology, is currently in the Senate where it is expected to pass despite a Conservative Senate majority.
Many socially conservative Canadians have been bracing for persecution, ruinous fines and potentially, even jail time, after this Liberal bill becomes law. Therefore, a promise to repeal it by a Conservative Leaderships candidate brings fresh hope. Lemieux joins Brad Trost as the only leadership candidates who are vocally opposing this tyrannical, free speech-destroying legislation.
Please read Pierre Lemieux’s important announcement which was sent in the form of an email to supporters and the media. If you haven’t already joined the federal Conservative Party, do so right away so that you’re eligible to vote for Lemieux and Trost. Below is a copy of his email.

He is no longer an MP so didn't vote on C-16. He voted against C-279 in 2013, but many MPs who previously voted NO have now betrayed conservative principles and sided with the Trudeau Liberals. So there is no guarantee Saxton isn't in the same liberal-left boat. |
"Yes" indicates the candidate voted in favour this radical extremist Liberal Bill in the House of Commons. This is a bad vote.
"No" indicates the candidate voted against this totalitarian bill. This is a good vote which defends free speech.
"Supports" indicates the candidate has made statements or taken actions which is a strong indicator that they would support Bill C-16.
