We, the undersigned members of the Catholic Women’s League of Canada have lost faith and confidence in our national leadership specifically in reference to:
1) its decision to support the World March of Women 2000
2) its lack of consultation with regard to commitment of the League’s support to the March
3) its lack of dissemination of relevant information regarding the March of Women 2000 “demands.”
4) its disregard for League guidelines on “coalition/affiliation, co-operation and sponsorship with other organizations.”

With this petition we make the following demands:
1) That the National Executive of the Catholic Women’s League withdraw League support from the March forthwith.
2) That the National Executive withdraw national Catholic Women’s League membership from the Women’s Interchurch Council of Canada.
3) That the National Executive of the Catholic Women’s League of Canada tender their resignations.
