Canada’s newspapers and TV news outlets launched a barrage of hundreds of editorials, columns, and reports attacking Ford’s announcement to replace the child-abusive sex curriculum.

The very next day, Ford and his Education Minister Lisa Thompson became targets of a media-orchestrated campaign of fake outrage. Canada’s newspapers and TV news outlets launched a barrage of hundreds of editorials, columns, and reports attacking Ford’s announcement to replace the child-abusive sex curriculum.

The media trotted out radical LGBT activists and far-left unions to try presenting the false image that there was wide-spread opposition to Ford’s repeal announcement. We know of course these union and trans-activists represent a tiny minority pushing a political agenda. Indeed, a September 4th Ipsos-Reid public opinion poll confirmed that a clear majority - 51% - of the public agree with Premier Ford's decision to repeal the sex curriculum. A much smaller percentage opposed it.

We know that the repeal promise was a key reason why the voting public awarded Ford a super majority. The public – and vast majority of parents – voted to scrap Wynne’s sex curriculum and the divisive liberal ideology contained therein.

Copying the same old liberal strategy of lies, vitriol, and fear-mongering, the unhinged editorials and news reports put out the canard that if Wynne’s sex-ed curriculum were repealed, “gay” and “transgender” children would die as a result, and Doug Ford would somehow be violating “human rights.”

This dishonest, fake news campaign by Canada’s so-called “journalists” is designed to frighten the Ford Administration and cause it to betray parents. It has worked to a certain degree because the unscientific theories of "gender identity" and "gender expression" are still listed in the "interim" curriculum which the Doug Ford government recently issued to school boards to use while the public consultation process is carried out, and until a new sex ed curriculum can be written.
