Dissident Catholic trustee Maria Rizzo must be defeated in the next school board election!
Dear Friend,
If you're a Catholic ratepayer living within the geographic boundaries of Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) Ward 5, or if you are a non-Catholic who has Catholic friends in Ward 5, we need your help.
Maria Rizzo, who is the elected Trustee in that ward, has once again revealed herself to be gravely unfaithful to Catholic moral teaching on human sexuality, but has now taken her rebellion to an unprecedented level.
In a shocking act of defiance against official Church teaching, Rizzo actually shut down recitation of the Catechism of the Catholic Church by a delegate who was reading from Section 2357 of the Catechism!
Believe it or not, Rizzo condemned the words of the Catechism, disavowing them as "NOT ACCEPTABLE".
As you will hear in the video below, Trustee Rizzo's verbal fist-pounding against the Catechism wielded an authoritarian tone and obsessive repetition to emphasize her renunciation of Catholic sexual morality - excusing this infidelity because the Board is "publicly funded". It was a strident betrayal of God's moral law in the name of government financing.
This is not the first time Trustee Rizzo has openly flouted Catholic teaching on human sexuality; she has been a long-time and notoriously brash advocate in the vanguard of the LGBT propaganda war that has attacked the TCDSB.
Rizzo's heretical outburst came after fellow trustee Norm Di Pasquale denigrated the Catechism's teaching on human sexuality, calling it "DANGEROUS", and following Chairman Joseph Martino's declaration that the words of the Catechism were "NOT PROPER".

Can you believe this arrogance and open rebellion against the Church by a CATHOLIC school trustee?
Even if someone disagrees with Catholic sexual teaching, they cannot deny that Rizzo has violated her religious Oath of Office that all Catholic Trustees must swear to Toronto's Archbishop.
Nor can they deny that Maria Rizzo is unfit to serve as a Catholic Trustee. Rizzo's Oath of Office states that she would "be faithful to the teachings of the Church".
Only one solution to this problem exists
If Cardinal Collins is reluctant to demand the resignation of this renegade, anti-Catholic Trustee, then faithful Catholics must vote Maria Rizzo out at the next municipal election, which will be held in October 2022.
That's why we're sharing this video with you, to begin the work now of ensuring Rizzo's electoral defeat.
Please spread it far and wide to every Catholic parent, grandparent, uncle, aunt, etc. whom you know in Ward 5, and urge them to remember it when the 2022 school board election rolls around.
If you happen to be Catholic yourself, share the video with your pastor and parish community.
Please ask yourself this question: Does Maria Rizzo have any business whatsoever serving as a Trustee, whose job, in part, is to ensure the faithful transmission of the moral teachings of the Catholic Church to Catholic students?
Please remember to share this video broadly. And remember that if Cardinal Collins doesn't force her to step down, then we must remove Maria Rizzo in the October 2022 election.
