Jeff Callaway - Record

Below are the key criteria considered by CLC in rating Jeff Callaway with "Caution", and as not being worthy of support by pro-life Albertans for the United Conservative Party Leadership.

  • His position on abortion is unknown
  • To our knowledge, he has not taken a stand on whether schools should have the so-called "right" to hide from parents the fact that their child has joined a controversial, gay-straight alliance. GSAs are student clubs where anti-scientific transgender ideology is routinely affirmed, and alternative sexual lifestyles encouraged.
  • According to media reports, he planned to march in Calgary's 2017 gay pride parade. This action is disrespectful to the social conservative base of the party which believes in traditional marriage. It's also disrespectful to the many members who recognize that parental rights in education are under attack by the very same LGBT ideology on display at the parade.
  • A campaign spokesperson for Callaway told the CBC that "As Wildrose president, he actively encouraged participation in [gay] pride events".

If you're a paid-up member of the United Conservative Party don't take any chances with letting Callaway become the next leader of the UCP. Please help ensure that Jason Kenney wins the leadership contest on October 28th by going to your local voting location and marking Kenney as #1 on your ballot.

Note: In order to be an eligible voting member, you must have joined the UCP no later than 5:00pm MT on Friday September 29th.

UPDATE October 18, 2017:   Callaway has withdrawn from the race and thrown his support behind Jason Kenney.
