Ask Doug Ford to stand against liberal ideology in the classroom

Dear Premier Doug Ford,

You have been the champion of creating a government “for the people”, a truly admirable and virtuous goal. So now, it’s time to listen to the people.

On Saturday, November 17, grassroots members of the Ontario PC party voted almost unanimously to pass a policy resolution to remove the teaching of Gender Identity Theory from Ontario schools and curriculum.

Furthermore, the resolution asked that the “Ontario PC Party recognizes gender identity theory for what it is, namely, a highly controversial, unscientific, liberal ideology”.

This was a huge win for the parents – and especially for the children who deserve protection from dangerous and unscientific, liberal indoctrination in the classroom.

The people in your own party have spoken. Please do not stand in the way of that policy being debated at the next PC convention, as was promised to the convention delegates who passed the resolution almost unanimously.

I respectfully request that you walk-back your statement of November 19th in which you opposed the policy resolution and threatened to find a way to nullify the vote of party members.

The party constitution does not give the Leader any power to cancel out the votes of members at a policy conference, so respect the will of the people in your party.

Please, Premier Ford, support the people once again, as you did during the election, and stand against the radical ideology which claims that being a boy or a girl has nothing to do with one’s bodily reality.

It is unfortunate that the PC government is taking a weaker stand on allowing the schools to sexualize our children. Allowing the left wing to use the schools to push the LGBTQ movement is disgraceful.

As a grade 12 student, I grew up with the old curriculum. I have young cousins who are being taught things in grade one and two that I didn't learn about until grade 7/8. Six and seven-year-olds don't need to be learning all of these things yet. We need
