Stop Susan Holt From Eradicating Parental Rights
IF SUSAN HOLT ISN'T STOPPED THIS ELECTION, SHE'LL STEAL YOUR PARENTAL RIGHTS!
Susan Holt has promised that if the Liberals form government, she will rip up the powerful parental rights protections that Premier Blaine Higgs recently put in place. The PC government introduced a rule requiring schools to obtain parental consent before sexually transitioning children. Now, thanks to the Higgs reform, New Brunswick teachers can no longer refer to children using opposite sex names and opposite sex pronouns, without first obtaining parental consent.
If the Holt Liberals win the October 21st election, teachers will go back to keeping parents in the dark about the lives of their own childen. Prior to the Higgs reform, the Ministry of Education actually forbade teachers from notifying parents or seeking their consent before transitioning their children. If Susan Holt wins, teachers won't even be able to inform parents that thier daughter is using a boys name and pronouns at school, and vice-versa, unless the child agrees. Even worse, what we've seen with other activists teachers and principals, is that they actually plant the idea in the mind of the child that they don't have to let their parents know what's happening.
But Holt's position is even more extremist and frightening than that.
