Rating Comments: David courageously voted in favour of an anti-nudity motion to protect children from illegal, lewd exposure. The motion threatened to stop sending sending a TDSB float , teachers and students to the Gay Pride Parade if police would not uphold Canadian law against public nudity. At the Gay Pride Parade where many TDSB children are taken, grown men walk buck naked down the streets of Toronto, exposing themselves to children. This is wrong on many levels and the TDSB ought to be ashamed for supporting public nudity and law breaking.

Anti-nudity motion to protect children from illegal, lewd exposure
This Motion by Ward 20 Trustee, Sam Sotiropoulos was designed to protect children from lewd and inappropriate sexual exposure by adults. The motion threatened to withdraw the Toronto District School Board’s float from the 2014 Gay Pride Parade if the police and Toronto City council did not promise to enforce Canada’s existing laws against public nudity. The TDSB sends children to participate in the gay pride parade each year. This annual event prominently features men displaying full frontal nudity in the streets of Toronto. It also features simulated sex acts, sexual bondage and sadomasochism all in the streets of Toronto, in full view of children. None of this is appropriate for students at any grade level. This also sends a message to students that it's ok to flagrantly violate Canadian laws. Unfortunately, this common sense motion was defeated by a vote of 16 to 6 on April 9, 2014, despite the fact that the vulgar aspects of the Gay Pride Parade violate the TDSB's own Code of Conduct.
Supported ok
Degrading the student dress codes so girls can show cleavage, abdomens, thighs, and hips during school
This misguided & reckless policy endangers and sexualizes girl students, who are already overly sexualized and victims of groping, grinding, unwanted sexual touching and other forms of sexual harassment by testosterone-filled male students who already view girls as sex objects. The policy was put forth by a radical Trustee who put sexual identity politics ahead of the well-being of both female and male students.

Furthermore, the new policy makes open transvetitism inevitable, which will worsen the demoralizing effects of "gender identity" ideology on students.
Opposed ok
