Brad Trost stands firm against transgenderist Bill C-309

Conservative Party of Canada Leadership candidate and Saskatoon-University MP Brad Trost demonstrated his courageous leadership on February 1st when he was the only MP, even among Conservatives, to vote against Liberal Bill C-309, "An Act to establish Gender Equality Week".

This innocuous sounding bill would actually designate a full week of propaganda annually in October, across Canada, celebrating transsexualism and normalizing it in the minds of adults, and especially vulnerable children.

Although Gender Identity Dysphoria is listed in the American Psychiatric Association’s handbook of mental disorders as a psychological illness, the radicals behind this bill ignore what science says about the condition, and seek to use the power of relentless media and classroom propaganda, backed by government legislation, to indoctrinate the public, and especially the next generation, into believing that transgenderism is an innate, unchangeable characteristic that one is born with, akin to skin colour or race.

Of the 288 MPs who voted on the 2nd Reading of this delusional and abusive bill on February 1st, only Brad Trost had the courage and soundness of mind to vote against itNo one else stood with him to defend human rights and the well-being of children and society against transhuman ideology.

Campaign Life Coalition president Jim Hughes praised Trost for his strength and fidelity to his duty as an MP, saying, “Thank God that he could see through this piece of legislation and the harm it will do to our society. I thank him for his courage to vote against it, the only MP to do so.”

Louis Roth, regional head of Campaign Life Coalition-Saskatchewan, also expressed heartfelt gratitude to Trost: “I have known Brad Trost for many years, so I’m not surprised that he was the only one with the courage to stand up against this bill. He is a man of conviction and integrity. It’s not easy to do what he did, but as we all know, sometimes, doing the right thing isn't easy. We are proud to support him”.

CLC invites all our supporters to express their appreciation to this exceptional Conservative Leadership candidate by purchasing a membership in the Conservative Party of Canada right now and then voting for Brad Trost, and also for fellow pro-life Conservative Leadership candidate and former MP Pierre Lemieux, when the Conservative Leadership election take place on May 27th.

With the onslaught of unjust legislation being rammed through by Liberals and New Democrats to deconstruct the human family and the human person, all caring and responsible Canadians will need a strong pro-life and pro-family leader like Brad Trost to take charge of the Conservative Party as we head toward the next federal election.

If you do purchase a membership in the Conservative Party, please let us know that you've taken this important action in support of life and family in our beloved country. Let's make Canada a nation that is once again known around the world for defending Human Rights.
