March For Life Schedule of Events

The main event, the March itself starting at Parliament Hill and continuing through downtown Ottawa, occurs on Thursday May 9. However, we have events occurring throughout the day and also the day before (Wed) and the day after (Fri).

     Location: First Baptist Church, 140 Laurier Avenue W.
     Co-hosted by Jubilee Canadian Reformed Church of Ottawa and ARPA Canada
     Jubilee's Pastor George van Popta will lead the service. There will also be a motivational call to action by Jonathon VanMaren of CCBR and an interactive Pro-Life 101 presentation by ARPA's legal counsel André Schutten.

      This prestigious dinner events features some of the premiere pro-life speakers in the world and always inspire attendees. 
      Keynote speaker is Reggie Littlejohn, Founder and President of Women’s Rights Without Frontiers, an international coalition to expose and oppose forced abortion, gendercide and sexual slavery in China.  She also led the international effort to free blind activist Chen Guangcheng, who arrived in the United States on May 19, 2012.
     
      Location: Hampton Inn, 200 Coventry Road, Ottawa, ON
      Ticket price:  $75 per person or $750 to block a table of ten (includes taxes)

6:00 pm Youth Banquet / Dinner (for youth and chaperones only)         
      Keynote speaker will be Jason Jones, movie producer and pro-life activist.  He produced the movie, "Bella" and recently co-produced a short film, along with the mother of Justin Bieber, Pattie Malette, called "Crescendo",  This film is about the life of Ludwig von Beethoven. Friday May 10 - Youth Conference
7:30 am Catholic Mass for those Youth Conference attendees who are interested
Celebrated by Father Paul Burchat 

8:00 am to 3:00 pm Youth Conference & Workshops:  an intensive workshop for young people, designed to arm youth with expert knowledge and the necessary communications strategies to go back into their communities, tackling the culture of death head on, and transforming it into a culture of life, one person at a time.
