Defend Pickering Councillor Lisa Robinson

A courageous member of City Council needs your help.
Lisa Robinson is the CLC endorsed, pro-parental rights Pickering City Councillor in Ward 1.
Earlier this year, Councillor Robinson made three important Motions in Council that were designed to safeguard the well-being of children and women, and protect civic integrity from falling prey to overt political correctness. These Motions were to:
- Prohibit the flying of the LGBT "Pride" flag on municipal properties.
- Restrict admission to transvestite "drag queen story hour" exhibitionism to adults only.
- Ensure the availability of female-only change rooms that would not be accessible to males.
But in response to her principled and morally coherent Motions, Councillor Robinson was attacked by her fellow Pickering Councillors and the Mayor, who:
- Imposed on her a pay freeze of 60 days duration.
- Subjected her to an investigation by an Integrity Commissioner.
- Formalized Council's support for proposed province-wide "Legislative Amendments to Improve Municipal Codes of Conduct and Enforcement", which include powers to seek the removal of a democratically elected Councillor from office, and to prohibit the removed Councillor from seeking re-election during that term and the subsequent term of office.
Stand with Councillor Lisa Robinson!
This wildly undemocratic reaction to Lisa Robinson's fair and responsible Motions is beyond belief, but is becoming a disturbing pattern in municipal councils across the country, which are frequently under the militant sway of pro-LGBT tyrants who openly attack religious and family values and increasingly focus their obsessive gaze on children.
We need to support Lisa Robinson in the fight for her democratic right and duty, as a duly-elected Pickering City Councillor, to make Motions that she deems to be in the best interest of her constituents, without being presumptuously censored and harshly punished by other members of Council who disagree with her position.
It's time to hold Lisa Robinson's persecutors accountable
CLC is urging you and all its supporters in Pickering to contact the Mayor and Coucillors to voice your outrage at their brazen acts of censorship and punishment against their democratically-elected colleague, Ward 1 City Councillor Lisa Robinson.
Tell the Mayor and Councillors that you will remember their persecution of Councillor Robinson at the next election and will vote accordingly unless they withdraw all the censorship and punishments they have arrogantly imposed on her.

We urge you to firmly lobby your Mayor and Councillors to stop persecuting Lisa Robinson and to rescind the unjust pay suspension and other punishments against her.
