The world is fed up with Trudeau’s feminist crusade against life, family, and traditional values

Countries around the world are starting to stand up to Justin Trudeau’s anti-life and gender crusade at the United Nations, pushing back in a significant way, at the 68th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), the largest annual gathering of feminists and abortion activists in the world.

With a liquidation crisis looming over the United Nations, meaning the UN is running out of funds, the bad actors proved once again how truly dysfunctional the system has become, and how certain countries - with Canada leading the way - are determined to cause more harm than good by imposing Trudeau’s immoral schemes on other countries through multilateral negotiations.

How exactly did this play out?

Well, instead of working to eradicate poverty, which was supposed to be the goal of this year’s commission, Canada’s delegates were on a mission to push their own ideologically driven agenda into the annual outcome document, promoting ‘sexual and reproductive health and rights’, which is an umbrella term for abortion and sterilization on demand, LGBT and gender ideology, and radical sex-education for children.

I can’t blame the Canadian representatives too much, though.

After all, they get their marching orders from Ottawa, and for the Trudeau government, these multilateral meetings and negotiations over “agreed conclusions”, have been reduced to one objective: The imposition of wokeism on the rest of the world at every possible opportunity.

Everything must be framed in ‘non-binary’ terms.

‘Sexual rights’ are sacred, whereas religion, cultural values, and longstanding social norms are obstacles to ‘progress', and while every liberal feeling or opinion must be elevated to a ‘human right’, all other opinions that don’t align must be condemned as ‘hate’.

For example, in the earlier stages of negotiations, Canada recommended that terms like ‘women’ and ‘men’ be replaced with ‘people’, and ‘boys’ and ‘girls’ be replaced with ‘adolescents’.

This wasn’t an exercise in shortening the text, mind you. This was a deliberate attempt to remove the differences between the sexes in order to pave way for transgenderism.

So, with the clock ticking last Friday, and no consensus in sight among member states, the chair of the meeting rushed through a ‘compromise’ final document, and of course, Canada, along with the UK, the US, and the EU, applauded the outcome because they got a lot of what they wanted.

Within seconds of the facilitator’s gavel ending the session, the conference room erupted with the frantic celebrations of hundreds of government bureaucrats and feminist activists rejoicing in their successful bid to have language on abortion and gender ideology included in an official UN document.

Why?

Because they know these documents will provide a gender-bending, anti-family framework that governments around the world can enforce back home on their unsuspecting populations.

Even though these UN resolutions aren’t legally binding on countries, the recommendations, which were adopted last Friday, are binding on the UN system, dictating the work of every single UN agency.

But that’s not the whole story.

Yesterday, the meeting reconvened for a closing session allowing countries to voice their reservations – and did they ever!

Nation after nation pointed out their disappointment in the outcome document, disassociating themselves from entire sections that are riddled with undefined and controversial language,  – the exact terminology championed by Canada and their allies.

All of these different countries were expressing the same frustration we feel here at Campaign Life Coalition with Canada’s anti-life foreign policy.

It wasn’t surprising to see the strongest criticism delivered by African nations, who’ve been most impacted by Canada’s ideological imposition of abortion and gender ideology across the continent.

Trudeau’s Feminist International Assistance Policy, which continues to fund pro-abortion and LGBT organizations with active projects throughout Africa, like IPAS International, International Planned Parenthood Federation, and Marie Stopes International, is a $700 million per year operation ...

And these are your tax dollars in action!

The Nigerian representative criticized the ‘mainstreaming and proliferating of controversial language lacking consensus’ as ‘deeply devastating, distasteful, unacceptable, and a serious concern’.

The representative from Cameroon echoed Nigeria’s sentiment by stating that ‘agreed conclusions should not be used to advance contentious agendas, terminology, and processes’.

When Mali delivered their reservations, aligning themselves with the rest of the African group, they wished that more focus be given to issues that relate to fighting poverty stating that they too disassociate themselves ‘from provisions that have no added value’.

Perhaps the harshest reality check came from the representative from Pakistan who stated their concerns with ‘the attempt by some states to promote terminologies and notions that have no basis in international law and international legal and human rights standards’.

‘These code words,’ he said, ‘are inserted into the text not with the intention to address issues of women and girls, but to advance certain divisive objectives’.

In response to these reservations by most of the African continent and other member states from Asia, the Middle East, and non European Union states, the representative from Liechtenstein, who was speaking on behalf of the Mountain Group, which Canada is a part of, applauded the outcome text, repeating their usual talking point that 'sexual and reproductive health and rights' are ‘an essential part of universal healthcare’, implying that abortion, sterilization, and gender ideology equals ‘empowerment.’

The Trudeau government and its allies continue to show the world that they have no desire to listen to the voices of the people they claim to be helping.

The truth is, when the world sees our Canadian flag, they no longer see a nation that listens, that helps, that is willing to offer a helping hand.

What the world sees today is an ideological colonizer determined to kill children before birth from poor families, to sterilize as many impoverished women as possible, and to spread a genderless utopian society.

In fact, in response to the documents 157 mentions of 'gender' in a variety of formats, many countries, in their closing statements, reaffirmed that there are only two sexes, male and female, and that 'gender' can only be defined as such.

Even with so much of the world objecting to the outcome of this UN conference, the abortion and gender ideologues weren’t done.

In fact, France, who just recently enshrined abortion in their constitution, proudly stated that it will strive ‘to promote the right to abortion throughout the world’. The French representative spoke these words after several former french colonies in Africa rejected the West's imposition of abortion language. It’s no surprise that our prime minister and French President Macron are such good pals.

Colombia, speaking on behalf of several compromised South American countries, stated that they will continue pushing forward abortion language in future meetings and negotiations.

Clearly, we have our work cut out for us.

Perhaps the silver-lining in all of this, is that the rest of the world is fed up with this ideological colonialism championed by Justin Trudeau and his allies, and they are speaking up in large numbers.

After attending dozens of UN commissions over the years, it’s clear to me that the more radical Canada gets, the more division it creates.

The United Nations are anything but united, and Justin Trudeau’s zealous commitment to promote abortion worldwide is one of the driving factors.
