The entire country is watching this by-election

There’s a by-election coming up in your riding on Monday, August 18th, and the entire country is paying attention to what happens.

I’ll get to all the drama in just a moment, because this is one of those hot political stories the mainstream media-types are drooling over, but let’s do the good news first.

You have three pro-life candidates who you can vote for on August 18th to represent the people of Battle River—Crowfoot in Ottawa.

Vote your values!

Jeff Willerton of the Christian Heritage Party, Jonathan Bridges of the People’s Party of Canada candidate, and United Party of Canada leader Grant Abraham are the only pro-life candidates on the ballot.

So, make sure to vote for one of these men in this critical by-election.

Advance voting takes place on Friday, August 8th; Saturday, August 9th; Sunday, August 10th; and Monday, August 11, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

On election day, Monday, August 18th, voting is scheduled to run from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

If you haven’t received your information card in the mail by now, you can visit this Elections Canada site to find out more details on where you can vote or go here.

This is important

Each of these green-light, pro-life candidates needs help with things like door knocking, phone calls, literature drops, and lawn sign delivery, and here’s how you can help them.

Pierre Poilievre – is he a good fit for Battle River-Crowfoot?

The national spotlight for this race is more intense than what you usually have for a normal by-election.

Canadians want to see if Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre can win back a seat in Parliament after a humiliating defeat in his own riding of Carleton during the last federal election.

Now, here’s the part that’s going to upset a few readers, but it needs to be said …

Pierre Poilievre, Conservative Party Leader

Poilievre does not share the pro-life and pro-family values of the good people in Battle River—Crowfoot.

Poilievre has publicly and repeatedly self-identified as a supporter of abortion. This means pro-lifers cannot in good conscience vote for him.

Poilievre also supports homosexual so-called “marriage”. He even voted in favour of Bill C-4, Justin Trudeau's “conversion therapy” ban which aims to put loving parents in jail up to 5 years for simply refusing to let their gender-confused child go on puberty blockers.

The truth is that Poilievre is a social liberal, while the majority of voters he hopes to represent in Battle River-Crowfoot are social conservatives.

The riding is pro-life, but the Conservative Party of Canada leader is not.

Poilievre’s track record speaks for itself, which is why CLC cannot endorse him in the Battle River—Crowfoot by-election.

In fact, we’re quite upset that Damien Kurek, a solid pro-life MP and sincere Christian, was sacrificed in order to allow Poilievre to run. Trading a pro-life MP for a pro-abort isn’t a very good deal!

Opportunity Knocks. Send a Message to the Conservative Party.

I find it insulting that Poilievre publicly champions the killing of children before birth, suppresses his many pro-life MPs by ordering them not to speak about abortion, but... when he finds himself without a seat in parliament, he can waltz into a pro-life riding and expect the support of pro-life voters.

Even worse, the Conservative Party is attempting to replace a devoutly Christian pro-life MP (Damien Kurek) with one who supports preborn child murder, LGBT ideology, and the status quo on euthanasia.

With this by-election, you can send a powerful message to the Conservative Leader and his party. Let’s vote en-masse for the pro-life candidates running against Poilievre!

If even one of three pro-lifers gives Poilievre a run for his money in this byelection, it’ll call to attention the fact that Poilievre’s socially liberal values are not welcome in Battle River-Crowfoot.

The Conservative Party will get the message loud and clear that it needs to stop taking its so-con base for granted.

Grant Abraham of the UPC, Jeff Willerton of the CHP, and Jonathan Bridges of the PPC – these men are pro-life and are worthy of your vote on Monday, August 18th.

The stakes are high.

So, the more votes we can get for the three pro-lifers in the race, the better.
