Canada Plans to Murder the Mentally Ill
There are very few of us who don’t know of someone – an acquaintance, friend-of-a-friend, or relative – who has been euthanized. Canada has earned the dubious distinction of being the most permissive euthanasia regime in the world, with “lethal injection” identified as the cause of 5% of all deaths in the country. We have even been denounced by the United Nations.
Despite the growing international outcry and the sheer enormity of our blood-guilt in the sight of Almighty God, the death cult within our government is still not satisfied. They want even more killing; and they will get it if we don't speak up!
Next on the Liberal government’s hit list are those struggling with depression, addiction, or any other mental disorder.
Above: Former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau oversaw the legalization of euthanasia in 2016, its expansion in 2021, and its automatic expansion set for 2027.
Very shortly, Canada’s euthanasia protocol (“MAiD” or Medical Assistance in Dying) will automatically expand to include the mentally ill. The Liberals’ murderous “MAiD service” will sweep away the lives of thousands more hurting and vulnerable Canadians starting on March 17th, 2027 – unless we stop it!
How many people do you know who suffer from depression, anxiety, addiction, or some other mental disorder? They will soon be deemed “killable” and eligible for MAiD.
Thankfully, one conscientious and courageous Member of Parliament has stepped up to protect the mentally ill. Ms. Tamara Jansen has brought forward Bill C-218, which will prevent euthanasia for all mental disorders. This proposal resurrects MP Ed Fast’s 2023 Bill C-314, which never came to a vote. We hope for a better outcome for C-218, which could come up for debate in the House of Commons this fall.

We want to see Bill C-218 passed into law; but we need to put pressure on all MPs and pray for a miracle! The Conservatives are expected to unanimously vote in favour, but we desperately need God to move the hearts of Liberal and Bloc representatives, causing enough of them to break ranks with the death cult. For C-218 to achieve a majority vote, at least 10 Liberal or Bloc MPs must vote “yea”.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 1 in 8 people suffer from a mental disorder of some kind. This can include depression, anxiety, addiction, ADHD, autism, various eating disorders, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, dementia, among others. The WHO also notes that these conditions may be aggravated by our healthcare system: “While effective prevention and treatment options exist, most people with mental disorders do not have access to effective care.”
I myself have personally struggled with depression over the years. When I was in my undergraduate studies at Queen’s University in the mid-1990s, I experienced suicidal ideation. If MAiD had been offered, I would have considered it. But, by the grace of God, MAiD was illegal and never dreamed of as an option!
Under the current Liberal government’s plan, however, any adult with any mental condition could soon qualify for a lethal injection. And since MAiD has been deemed a “human right” by our courts and legislators, it will likely become illegal to interfere with “access to killing”. I expect that our current suicide prevention hotlines will be quickly modified to offer suicide provision as an option – maybe the preferred option!
Many mental health professionals have spoken out about the dangers of offering death to mentally ill individuals. How can we expect these troubled souls to make a rational decision when their thoughts and judgements are impaired? Isn’t the desire to end one’s life inherently irrational?
One group of over 40 experts has warned that the government “will be responsible for facilitating state provided deaths to marginalized and suicidal Canadians who would have recovered” and that the Liberals will be “condoning a form of eugenics through expanding MAiD in Canada.”
According to Dr. John Maher, a Canadian psychiatrist and editor-in-chief of the Journal of Medical Ethics in Mental Health: “Holding a gun to your head, sticking a needle in your arm, or holding a poison pill and a glass of water in my hands for you to take, are all morally equivalent actions. And don’t tell me your desire to die changes the moral nature of my complicity. Your desire to die should call forth in me all possible action and means to keep you alive. Such have been the laws that require me to admit you into a hospital for your own safety. We can’t have it both ways: suicide prevention and facilitation are fundamentally incompatible moral and pragmatic positions.”
There is no doubt in my mind that Canada is treading the very same evil path trod by Germany in the 1930s and 40s. Adolf Hitler and his National Socialist (Nazi) party at first promoted the idea of euthanasia as a “compassionate solution” for the mentally ill and disabled. They even dispatched buses with medical staff to “help” patients by transporting them to killing centres. This laid the groundwork for the Nazis’ subsequent mass-extermination of political prisoners, prisoners of war, and other “undesirables”, including the “final solution” for the “Jewish problem”.

Before Canada travels one more step down this dark and demonic “euthanasia road”, we need to put on the brakes! The planned expansion of the Liberals’ “MAiD Service” to include the mentally ill must be stopped. And the best way to do this is to pass MP Tamara Jansen’s Bill C-218.
Please join me in sending an Action Alert Email to our local MPs, urging them to pass C-218. This bill is simple and straightforward: It “amends the Criminal Code to provide that a mental disorder is not a grievous and irremediable medical condition for which a person could receive medical assistance in dying.” This one amendment, implanted in our Criminal Code, will save thousands of lives every year.
It may even save the life of a neighbour, friend, or family member.
