Earlier this year, we launched a petition to address the anti-life, anti-family agenda that Premier Susan Holt began to implement upon her election victory last October. Her Liberal policies have taken our province in a radical direction promoting more abortion and unleashing LGBT extremism in our public schools.

Over the last few months, we have gathered hundreds of signatures and comments from concerned New Brunswickers like you, urging the government to “Halt the Holt Agenda”. This represents but a small drop in a much larger bucket of citizens outraged over what Premier Holt is doing to “liberalize” our province and transform it into a haven for depravity.

At a time when there is an urgent need for real improvement in our healthcare and education systems, what does Premier Holt prioritize first of all? Elective abortion killing and trans ideological tyranny! Her priorities are all backwards.

We have now delivered our petition and brought your signatures and comments to all 49 MLAs in the province – in person where possible, and by mail to everyone else. Along with that petition, each MLA received a personal letter from myself pleading for the government to reverse-course on its radical agenda.

In one of her very first acts after coming to office, Premier Holt implemented changes that she hoped would “create more access to abortion,” thus taking even more precious preborn lives.

First, she eliminated the protections of Regulation 84-20, which means that taxpayer dollars may now go towards funding abortion procedures at private, money-making clinics. Second, she re-classified the surgical abortion procedure as “minor surgery”, which allows this murderous act to be performed in local neighbourhood health clinics. These clinics are ill-equipped to deal with common complications such as hemorrhaging, sepsis, peritonitis, or thrombosis, putting women at grave risk.

In addition, Premier Holt implemented a radical new pro-LGBT policy in all New Brunswick public schools.

Under her version of Policy 713, biological boys, if they simply “identify” as female, must participate in girls’ sports and have full, unquestioning access to girls’ locker rooms and washrooms, putting every girl at risk of bullies and predators. Furthermore, “gender and sexuality alliance” clubs are now mandated in every school, which only serve as seedbeds for social contagion. Parental consent is not required for children to “change genders” or join the sexuality club.

Our petition to provincial MLAs urges them to say NO to the changes in Policy 713 and Regulation 84-20.

So far, we have received no communication from the Holt government in response to our petition. Though, curiously, they have taken down the link to Policy 713.

Not only has Premier Holt chosen to ignore the voice of constituents, she has chosen to ignore the voice of conscience. She will have to answer for this one day – either before voters in the next election, or before Almighty God in the Last Judgement. I personally hope and pray she will have a change of heart before then!
