Are you a registered delegate to the Conservative Party’s 2026 National Convention in Calgary?

If so, we need your help to prevent the re-election of a man who has been hostile to the party’s social conservative base and who grossly undermined grassroots democracy.

I’m talking about Stewart Kiff, one of the four incumbent National Councillors representing Ontario.

Kiff is seeking re-election... and this man has to be defeated.

I’ll tell you more about Kiff shortly, but first...

Our candidate endorsements

The good news is that CLC has identified four excellent, pro-life candidates running against Kiff for the four available National Council seats in Ontario. If you’re a registered delegate, please vote for Christina Mitas, Aaron Scheewe, Dheeraj Jha, and Kinsey Schurm.

The problems with Stewart Kiff

Now, allow me to tell you more about Stewart Kiff.

During his time as a CPC national councillor, he voted in favour of disqualifying many pro-life, pro-family nomination candidates.

That included the widely-criticized and scandalous disqualification of Gerrit Van Dorland in the Oxford riding, a pro-lifer and loyal Conservative.

Under Kiff’s watch as an elected National Councillor, roughly 110 ridings had candidates summarily appointed during the 2025 election cycle, whereby grassroots members were robbed of their right to vote for the candidate of their choice in a nomination election. To our knowledge, Kiff did nothing to oppose that staggering wave of anti-democratic appointments.

On top of that, Kiff voted to eliminate "Regional Meetings" for grassroots Ontario CPC members during the 2023 convention cycle, thus depriving CPC members of a critical opportunity to engage in policy voting.

Kiff’s lobbying firm’s shady ties to the CCP

Another alarming fact about Kiff is that the lobbying firm he owns, Solstice Public Affairs, was hired by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) state dictatorship.

A 2019 investigative report by the South China Morning Post newspaper alleged that Solstice staff “blurred the lines of PR, journalism and political activism” on behalf of the communist dictatorship.

A Solstice staff member even wrote a Toronto Star opinion piece during the Huawei spying affair which many perceived as trying to run defense for China.

Kiff himself wrote an op-ed in the Ottawa Citizen that went after critics of the CCP’s human rights abuses, including an ethnic media outlet called NTDTV which regularly exposes the crimes of the Chinese state dictatorship.

Why does this matter?

The CCP is a brutal dictatorship that harvests organs from political prisoners, bulldozes Christian churches, genocides Uyghur muslims, and arrests Christians.

The CCP has also committed egregious acts of foreign interference in Canada’s elections, with Canada’s top intelligence agency (CSIS) admitting that China helped engineer the election of several Liberal MPs in the last two federal elections.

It seems to me that a man with this kind of background should not be allowed anywhere near the governing body of the Conservative Party of Canada.
