Help elect a pro-life leader for the B.C. Conservatives Party
Did you hear the news?
The Conservative Party of British Columbia is voting for a new leader on Saturday, May 30th, and we have a special inside scoop to share with you.
Campaign Life Coalition has identified a pro-life and pro-family candidate who is entering the contest!
For strategic reasons, we cannot yet share this individual’s identity, but we will do so in the near future. However, I’m sure you understand how valuable it would be to have a major provincial political party with a leader who shares our values on life and the family?
It would be a game-changer and the good news is – we can make it happen.
How do we do it?
Well, first things first.
You have to be a party member in good standing to vote in the upcoming leadership contest and the deadline for that is Saturday, April 18th, at 5:00 p.m.
If you’re already a member, then great.
If you still need to purchase or renew your membership, though, you can do so by going here.
This leadership race is critical.
The next provincial election is in 2028 which sounds far away, but here’s the thing.
The B.C. Conservatives need to reset the narrative around the party after John Rustad was forced to resign back in December.
CLC was very happy to see Rustad go because he betrayed the socially conservative base of the party in several ways.
For example, he tweeted a pro-abortion statement claiming there existed such a thing as a “right” to abortion.
He also weakened the party’s ability to stand strong on pro-family values by bringing Elenore Sturko into the BC Conservative caucus, a radical, LGBT MLA from the old BC Liberal Party, who was in no way “conservative”.
Well, now Rustad’s gone. So are his strategic blunders. And the opportunity has come for pro-lifers to get behind a new leader – someone who actually shares our values.
Once again, we can’t tell you our endorsed candidate’s name yet, but will do so as soon as we can.
Keep an eye on your inbox for updates because we’ll have more to say about this leadership race in the coming weeks.
