If passed, C-9 will empower police to charge Christians with "hate speech" for quoting controversial biblical verses on homosexuality, transgenderism, abortion and other issues, or...
... for merely making a biblically-based moral statement!
Of course, Jews, Muslims, Sikhs and Hindus are also at risk of hate speech charges if they cite any similar passages from their scriptures.
If you haven't yet made phone calls to the 98 Senators, would you please start doing so now? We must convince them to stop Bill C-9 or at least to amend it so as to restore the "religious text defense" to the Criminal Code, which Bill C-9 currently plans to remove.
