Help Promote the May 1 Protest Against Bill C-9

We’re entering a critical stretch in the fight against the Liberal government’s anti-religion Bill C-9.

This legislation directly threatens our fundamental freedoms of expression and religion, including the ability of Christians to live out their beliefs without fear of government prosecution.

Certain Bible passages will be effectively banned as “hate speech” if C-9 passes in the Senate.

To try and stop this from happening, we have a day of nationwide protests planned for next Friday, May 1st, from 12pm to 1pm, at the constituency offices of all 174 Liberal MPs.

These peaceful protests are an essential opportunity to show the Liberal government – and the 81 Liberal-appointed Senators — that Canadians will not quietly accept legislation that undermines freedom of expression and freedom of religion.

Together, we’ll send the message to Prime Minister Mark Carney and his Liberal MPs that they will be blamed if the Senate passes this bill, and the backlash will be felt by them at the ballot box in the next federal election.

Today, I’m excited to share a new tool that will help you spread the word: a customized 8.5x11 rally poster for every single Liberal MP’s office.

You can now download the poster for your riding directly from our website. These posters are perfect for:

  • Posting at your church or community bulletin board

  • Sharing on social media

  • Sending to family, friends, and members of your church

  • Inviting others to stand with you on May 1st

Here is an example of what the posters look like:

Please take a moment today to go to our main Rally Listing Page and download your riding’s poster to and help us get the word out.

The more people who see it, the stronger our turnout will be.

We also urgently need Rally Leaders.

For each of the 174 ridings, Campaign Life Coalition needs a local Rally Leader to organize signage, welcome participants, and ensure the event runs smoothly. Some ridings already have a committed leader—but many still do not.

If a riding does not have a Rally Leader, we will be forced to cancel that location’s protest. That would be a real loss, especially at a moment when visibility and unity are so important.

If you feel called to step forward, even if you’ve never done something like this before, we will support you every step of the way.

Your leadership could make the difference between a cancelled rally and a strong public witness.

To volunteer as our local leader in your riding, please fill out this form.

If you’re not interested in being a leader but are willing to participate in the local protest by holding a sign, please fill out this form.

Thank you for your commitment, your courage, and your willingness to stand up for freedom in Canada.

Let’s make May 1st a day that Carney’s Liberal government cannot ignore.
