Sex-Ed Info Session

Starts: April 19, 2015 @ 8:30pm
Ends: April 19, 2015 @ 10:30pm
Where: Holiday Inn, Ontario Ballroom - Salon C, 30 Fairway Rd. S., Kitchener, ON (at King St. & Fairway Rd.)

We have some good news about an important talk that had been cancelled, but now, is back in on a different Kitchener location thanks to the emergence of a new group who swooped in to keep it alive.

A presentation about Premier Kathleen Wynne's controversial sex-ed curriculum had been scheduled this Sunday evening at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Kitchener. The invited guest speaker was Jack Fonseca from Campaign Life Coalition. CLC is one of many groups that have been leading the charge to educate parents about alarming elements in the Liberal government's sex curriculum for Grades 1 - 8.

However, for reasons unknown to Campaign Life Coalition, the Bishop of Hamilton, His Excellency Douglas Crosby, objected to the presentation by CLC and ordered its cancellation. The Bishop's office gave instructions that Catholic parishioners who were curious to learn more details about the Liberal government's sex-ed curriculum should contact his employee, Teresa Hartnett, instead.

Fortunately, a new, non-denominational group called Family Life Concerned Citizens, has picked up the information session and will host it at a different location unafilliated with the Diocese of Hamilton. Therefore it will take place this Sunday from 8:30pm – 10:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn at the corner of Weber St. & Fairway Rd.   Maximum seating capacity is 100 persons.

Please come learn exactly what in the curriculum has caused more than 110,000 Ontarians to sign petitions demanding its repeal. Come learn why 5,000 parents from all walks of life, religions and cultures protested angrily at Queen's Park this past week, demanding that Kathleen Wynne abandon her plan to foist this curriculum on all Ontario elementary schools starting in September.
