The Progressive Conservative Party of Prince Edward Island recently announced that its next leader will be selected on Saturday, February 7, 2026.

This is an amazing opportunity for our supporters in PEI to install a God-fearing, pro-life and pro-family leader by participating in the PC Party leadership race.

A first step is for our supporters who share this goal to join the PC Party of PEI as voting members no later than January 16, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. by clicking here.

After joining or renewing your membership in the PC party, please email us to let us know you did so.

So far, there are two declared candidates, MLA Rob Lantz and business and legal professional Mark Ledwell. Neither of them has responded to CLC's candidate survey as of yet, but we expect that they will share where they stand when eligible voting members (like you) ask them.

It will be difficult - although not impossible - for new candidates to enter at this stage since the deadline for leadership aspirants to submit their completed application with payments to the PC Party is December 24th at 3:00 p.m. AST.

If you - or a pro-lifer you know - has been on the fence about applying to run, we'd urge you to do so now while you still have time.
