MLA Uzoma Asagwara

New Democratic Party, Union Station, MB

Bio

Uzoma Asagwara
Not Supportable
CLC rating: Pro-Transgender ideology; pro-abortion
Rating Comments: MLA Uzoma Asagwara appears to be a female in her photo on the Manitoba NDP's website, but she refers to herself in her biography as "non-binary", which is a made-up, LGBT sophism for someone suffering from a personality disorder. Throughout her biography, Uzoma uses the pronoun "they" to reinforce a multiple personality projection. Ironically, prior to being elected as an MLA, Uzoma was a "psychiatric nurse and addictions specialist".

Pro-abortion rating based on an official policy statement by the NDP, on behalf of all NDP candidates, which asserted abortion as “a woman’s right to choose”. This pro-abortion statement was posted April 5th on the NDP’s website during the 2016 provincial election.

Votes, Surveys and Policy Decision Vote Score
Not Supportable
Bill 207, 2nd reading, to create No Free Speech "BUFFER ZONES" on public property
This blatantly pro-abortion, private member's bill, introduced by NDP MLA Nahanni Fontaine, was a more extreme sequel to her failed 2018 bill that sought to outlaw peaceful, pro-life expression on taxpayer-owned public sidewalks within a radious of up to 150 metres around all of Manitoba's abortion mills. In her 2021 version, MLA Fontaine included trying to ban peaceful, pro-life witness even around schools. Fortunately, this unconstitutional and totalitarian bill was defeated at 2nd Reading by a vote of 30 Nays over 20 Yeas on Oct. 14, 2021.
