MLA Tara Armstrong
OneBC Party, Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream, BC
Bio

CLC rating: Unknown
Rating Comments: In June 2025, former BC Conservative MLAs Tara Armstrong and Dallas Brodie, who departed from the BC Conservative Party in March of that year over the Residential Schools controversy, formed a new political party called OneBC that is pledged to promote authentically conservative fiscal and social values.
Tara refused to answer CLC’s 2024 election survey, therefore, her position on the sanctity of life is unknown. In a shockingly undemocratic fashion, she told a CLC staffer that only the party bureaucracy could decide for her what her positions are, and that we should ask the party head office, what she believes instead. She was elected as an MLA with the BC Conservative Party in the 2024 provincial election, but resigned from the party in March of 2025.

| Bill M 216 "Protecting Minors from Gender Transition Act", 1st Reading OneBC MLA Tara Armstrong heroically introduced this compassionate bill to protect minor children from being sexually mutilated under the fanatic Transgender regime that is plaguing Canada. This bill would've made it illegal to damage the healthy bodies of impressionable children through the use of puberty-suppressing drugs, cross-sex hormones, and genital amputations and disfigurement. [Defeated at 1st Reading on October 8, 2025 by a vote of 48 to 40.] |

| Motion 38 to condemn Christian organization for having biblical beliefs on sexuality and abortion This shocking Motion, introduced by MLA Rohini Arora of the far-left BC NDP government, used the Association for Reformed Political Action (ARPA), a Christian organization, as a scape-goat to attack the biblical values of all pro-life and pro-family citizens in BC. By condemning ARPA for standing against the moral degradation of society caused by baby-killing abortion, homoeroticism, and transsexualism, the NDP-dominated BC Legislature effectively condemned all organizations, individuals, and religions that hold natural moral law beliefs that oppose infanticide and sexual depravity. [Passed on October 6, 2025 by a vote of 48 to 3.] |
