MLA Spencer Chandra Herbert

New Democrat Party, Vancouver-West End, BC

Bio

Spencer Chandra Herbert
Not Supportable
CLC rating: Pro-abortion, anti-traditional marriage
Rating Comments: MLA Chandra Herbert instigated the reintroduction of a bill to corrupt the BC Human Rights Code by imposing the made-up LGBT phrase "gender identity or expression" upon the Code's text. The bill, which came to be known as Bill 27 and became law in July 2016, essentially turns a mental illness (Gender Identity Disorder) into a Human Right, with all the implications that will have for individuals, businesses and religious organizations that do not subscribe to LGBT ideology. It is noteworthy that Herbert is a strident gay-activist. On his own MLA website, he posts an article entitled, "Chandra Herbert was the first gay B.C. MLA to adopt a child while serving in the legislature". Chandra Herbert's drive to redefine human rights to allow LGBT abuses and domination to spread reveals a personal vendetta against Natural Moral Law and those who uphold it.

As a party, the NDP's official position is pro-abortion. It was the NDP government, elected in 1990, that introduced regulations within the province's Health Act, to force hospitals within each region of the province to provide "abortion services", even where the hospital board of directors had voted against the practice. In 2001, the ruling NDP government issued one of the most radical pro-abortion resolutions ever seen in North America which included increased funding for the medical training of abortionists; enhanced access to abortifacient morning-after pills; and increased fees for abortionists. The NDP also passed the "bubble zone" law t to prevent pro-life protests in front of abortuaries. The BC NDP is also opposed to traditional family values. Its constitution includes a "Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgendered Caucus" within the party.

Marched in, or endorsed, a Gay Pride Parade
Gay Pride festivals are controversial, often feature mock sex acts in public and are offensive to many, perhaps most, Canadians. As such it is inaprropriate for an elected representative to endorse one side of this socially divisive issue. Elected officials are supposed to represent ALL their consituents, not just the politically correct ones.

Bill 27 - 3rd reading of an Act to amend the BC Human Rights Code to add the LGBT-invented phrase "gender identity or expression" as a prohibited ground of discrimination.
This totalitarian Bill, introduced by BC Liberal Justice Minister Suzanne Anton, legally invents a new breed of humans out of those suffering from Gender Identity Disorder. The new law threatens to punish people who refuse to recognize or affirm transsexual delusions and alter-egos, considering such refusal to be a violation of "human rights". [Passed unanimously on July 25, 2016 by all 70 MLAs who cast a vote]
