Rating Comments: During the 2014 New Brunswick provincial election, Sherry gave perfect answers to CLC's election questionnaire. She also attended multiple March For Life events. For these reasons, Campaign Life Coalition endorsed her and helped to get-out-the-vote for her in the last election.
In 2020 however, an NDP-supporting, communist rag of a website called PressProgress did a hit piece on her pro-life beliefs. Sherry immediately caved to the pressure and said that that her beliefs have since "evolved".
She told PressProgress that she now supports murdering children in the womb for reasons of "sexual assault" and for unspecified "health risks", and also believes that New Brunswick taxpayers should be forced to finance this baby killing.
To prove her new, progressive-regressive bona fides, Sherry also gave PressProgress a virtue-signalling nod to Gender Identity Theory and transgender ideology. In a bizarre statement, she refused to say the word "woman", and referred instead to "a person on the gender spectrum who is pregnant", in the context of women who abort their children.

| Bill 11, An Act Respecting Proof of Immunization Introduced by former provincial NDP leader turned PC Minister of Education, Domenic Cardy, this authoritarian bill would require all students to provide proof of immunization in order to attend any of the province’s early learning and childcare facilities or public schools and would not allow any conscientious or religious-based exemptions – only medical ones. That means, for example, that if parents object to certain vaccines on the basis of their unethical development or implications, those objections would be ignored. It would be a disastrous precedent given the bill’s failure to recognize the morally dubious nature of a great number of vaccines. Thankfully, even amidst the panic associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, this enforced-injection bill was wisely, if narrowly, defeated by a vote of 22 to 20 on June 18, 2020. |
