Rating Comments: Edmonton City Council candidate Giselle General refused to repond with direct answers to CLC's 2025 municipal election questionnaire, opining incorrectly that she does "not consider abortion to be within the mandate of a municipal councillor". Nevertheless, she clearly stated that she believes "decisions regarding reproductive healthcare, including the right to choose, are deeply personal and should remain between an individual and their medical professionals" - in other words, that pregnant mothers should be free to kill their unwanted babies by abortion.
