CLC rating: Pro-abortion, pro-LGBT ideology
Rating Comments: In response to CLC’s 2026 elections questionnaires, Leta Malcolm replied "I am a woman, I am very pro choice...So proud of my province for making abortion more accessible." Also, Leta erroneously stated of CLC that “You are also not relevant to the municipal politics in my area”, which is incorrect, as municipal funding issues and the rash of invasive bubble zone legislation in municipalities across Canada attest. In a follow-up e-mail, Leta unleashed a torrent of profanities against CLC in which she denied that a child in the womb in a baby, insisted that the sexual mutilation of so-called transgender people is equivalent to “human rights”, and that CLC’s ideals of protecting children from abortion and LGBT indoctrination “don’t even represent Christianity!!

| Question | Response |
|---|---|
| Organizations like Planned Parenthood (PP) routinely counsel women to have abortions, and increasingly, are involved in dispensing the chemical abortion pill. Given that abortion is a controversial practice that many taxpayers in your municipality find abhorrent, do you agree that PP and similar “sexual health agencies" should not receive taxpayer funds through the municipality? | refused to respond |
| There has been a move in some municipal jurisdictions to pass bylaws which establish censorship zones, also called “bubble zones”, around abortion facilities. These unconstitutional censorship zones make it illegal to express peaceful pro-life speech, including silent prayer, on taxpayer-owned public sidewalks within the vicinity of abortion facilities and pharmacies which dispense abortion pills. If elected, would you vote to oppose such a censorship bylaw, if it were ever proposed? | refused to respond |
| Do you acknowledge that human life begins at conception (fertilization)? | no |
| Do you consider yourself pro-life or pro-choice? | pro-choice |
