CLC rating: Pro-parental rights, Pro-free speech, Unknown on abortion
Rating Comments: Armstrong has been a powerful advocate for parental rights in education. Commendably, she is also strongly opposed to puberty blockers and sex-change surgeries for children. Furthermore, she introduced a much-needed bill to abolish the anti-Christian kangaroo court known as the BC Human Rights Tribunal. However, she has not responded to CLC's candidate survey, so her views on abortion and euthanasia are not yet known.

Here is Tara Armstrong's voting record relating to life and family issues:

Votes, Surveys and Policy Decision Vote Score
Bill M 216 "Protecting Minors from Gender Transition Act", 1st Reading
OneBC MLA Tara Armstrong heroically introduced this compassionate bill to protect minor children from being sexually mutilated under the fanatic Transgender regime that is plaguing Canada. This bill would've made it illegal to damage the healthy bodies of impressionable children through the use of puberty-suppressing drugs, cross-sex hormones, and genital amputations and disfigurement. [Defeated at 1st Reading on October 8, 2025 by a vote of 48 to 40.]
Supported ok
Motion 38 to condemn Christian organization for having biblical beliefs on sexuality and abortion
This shocking Motion, introduced by MLA Rohini Arora of the far-left BC NDP government, used the Association for Reformed Political Action (ARPA), a Christian organization, as a scape-goat to attack the biblical values of all pro-life and pro-family citizens in BC. By condemning ARPA for standing against the moral degradation of society caused by baby-killing abortion, homoeroticism, and transsexualism, the NDP-dominated BC Legislature effectively condemned all organizations, individuals, and religions that hold natural moral law beliefs that oppose infanticide and sexual depravity. [Passed on October 6, 2025 by a vote of 48 to 3.]
Opposed ok
Bill to abolish the corrupt BC Human Rights Tribunal
This excellent bill, introduced by MLA Tara Armstrong, was brought forward to combat the growing abuse of power by the unelected, far-left, BC Human Rights Tribunal. This corrupt kangaroo court had just levied an obscene fine of $750,000 against heroic former BC school trustee Barry Neufeld for seeking to protect children from mind-and-body destroying transgender ideology. MLA Armstrong's principled bill was defeated in a vote taken at 1st Reading, which is procedurally unusual, since votes typically don't take place until 2nd Reading of a bill. This would appear to have been a maneuver by the rabidly pro-LGBT NDP government to stamp out the bill before it even came to 2nd Reading, as if such a bill should not even be countenanced in the Legislature. [Defeated on February 23, 2026 by a vote of 50 to 37.]
