On May 9, 2024, John Rustad tweeted a pro-abortion statement, falsely asserting that there exists a "right" to abortion. There is no such thing. The statement also implied that the BC Conservatives support abortion.
This was a tragic move by a leader who used to tell people who asked him in private, that he was personally pro-life. It cancels out all of the wonderful policies he has pursued against transgender ideology in schools, and for the defense of parental rights. Supporting child murder is a disqualifying factor for politicians.
