Bio

CLC rating: Pro-abortion
Rating Comments: He publicly advocated for expansion of abortion in the province, which of course means advocating for making it easier to kill more preborn babies. As Justice Minister, he introduced an abortion bubble zone censorship law to criminialize constitutional, peaceful protest within 50 metres of abortion killing centres, even on public, taxpayer-owned sidewalks. He resigned from his position as a Member of the House of Assembly on May 1, 2025.

Advocating for more locations where preborn children can be dismembered and decapitated via lethal abortion: “I was surprised that they weren’t offered elsewhere in the province. When it comes to women’s health services in general, you know, women have to be treated equally and not be forced to go to St. John’s.†[The Telegram, 'St. John’s only place in N.L. to get abortion', Oct. 8, 2014]
