Rating Comments: Shannon had once been a powerful opponent of Gender Ideology in schools. However, in February 2026 he switched sides, and began heavily criticizing a parental rights policy that had just been debated at the Conservative Party Convention. This policy sought to repeal the Liberal government's so-called "conversion therapy ban" which prescribes up to 5 years in jail for parents who arrange body-affirming therapy to help their gender-confused child feel at peace in the body God gave them. CLC was very disappointed to see Shannon defect to the other side.
