Candidate, Tasha Kheiriddin
Toronto District School Board, ON
Electoral District: Ward 07, Parkdale - High Park
Bio
CLC rating: Pro-LGBT ideology, Educable on abortion
Rating Comments: In June 2026, she tweeted praise for a group of young people who were going to participate in a "Pride Run" in support of LGBT "Pride Month". This makes Kheiriddin a pro-LGBT activist and is a disqualifying factor.
On a more positive note, she has criticized school policies that teach gender identity/transgender concepts and refuse to inform parents when children use preferred pronouns or socially "transition" to the opposite sex at school.
On abortion, she has stated that she supports some kind of law to restrict the killing of unborn children and she supports criminalizing sex-selective abortion. Unfortunately, however, she also believes in some exception wherein-utero child murder should be legal (rape, incest).
