Fighting transgender ideology in BC

NOTE: This blog was originally directed to CLC supporters in British Columbia.

For those of you who haven’t been following BC politics, I want to share an exciting development about the socially conservative direction that one of the main political parties is taking.

It’s something we’ve been waiting for and hoping to happen, in some Canadian province, somewhere.

Finally, a mainstream party is pushing back against the trans insanity that has been unravelling our society!!

And it’s no surprise that Marxist, pro-LGBT politicians are going nuts.

Recently, the new leader of the Conservative Party of British Columbia (CPBC), MLA John Rustad, tweeted that he’s “proud to stand with BC's women and girls, as well as parents and families.”

This was a follow-up to a press release wherein the CPBC reiterated its support for protecting the privacy and security rights of girls and women, with legislation to prevent biological males from being able to access female intimate spaces like washrooms, changerooms and showers.

The press release also expressed unequivocal support for barring biological males, who are inherently stronger, from participating in girls sports, which puts the latter at a terrible disadvantage.

Above: Biological man identifying as transgender plays on girls basketball team. Girls look in astonishment.

The Conservative Party Leader, John Runstad, even signed his own name to this statement, boasting that it’s “the only party in BC which believes that women's spaces must be protected, and that parents and families must have the ability to make choices around education, social values, and health decisions for their children.”

Strong statements like these – backed by action – are exactly what we need to turn things around in British Columbia. It’s terrible to see what the communist/socialist NDP are doing to the province …

Whether we’re talking about their commitment to the LGBT indoctrination of our children in the schools, or the radical support of abortion on demand.

If the Greens get into power in the next election, it won’t be any better, but I digress …

Now, those statements by the CPBC came after a story blew up in the media over a local Conservative candidate in a recent by-election.

Karin Litzcke, who lost her bid as a CPCBC candidate to become the next MLA for Vancouver-Mount Pleasant, came under fire for speaking out against biological boys taking part in girl sports.

She was taking a perfectly reasonable position, but was labelled as “transphobic” in the news, and you can read about all the details by going here.

Ms. Litzcke’s comments so inflamed her political opponents that the BC NDP and the provincial Green Party put out a joint statement condemning her.

No one in the pro-life and pro-family movement should be surprised to see this kind of hostility directed toward Ms. Litzcke.

The position she took to protect girls against radical transgender ideology is a value we cherish because it’s rooted in biological truth and respects the inherent God-given differences between males and females, but …

To the pro-LGBT Marxists, it poses a direct threat to the anti-human, anti-family pillars of their destructive ideology.

So, I need you to do me a simple favour.

First, please email Conservative Party of BC leader, John Rustad, and thank him for standing up for women and girls against transgender ideology. You can send him a message by clicking here.

Next, please send an email to Ms. Litzcke and let her know you appreciate the courage she displayed in the face of the woke mob that was coming after her.

Writing an email only takes a few minutes, but it can make a huge difference. Why?

Because it’s not easy to go against the grain of the “popular culture” these days, especially when it comes to facing off against angry LGBT activists, and …

We need to be more bold and courageous when it comes to defending family values and biological reality, like Rustad and Litzcke have shown us.

One thing is certain - the Conservative Party of BC has replaced the BC Liberals as the natural home for pro-family and pro-faith citizens.
