Hijacking of UN commission continues by abortion activists
Meetings and negotiations are still underway at the UN Commission on Population and Development. Unfortunately, the theme of comprehensive sexuality education, so-called abortion rights, and contraception continue to dominate the agenda. These abortion activists have no limits- especially here at the UN. From bullying smaller, developing nations, to jeering and heckling the Holy See when they address the plenary session, one sometimes wonders if this really is the United Nations, a place of dialogue and respect for all people. Nevertheless, we will continue to stand for basic human rights for all, and not allow these negotiations to be hijacked by a bunch of misguided idealogues.
