Caution
CLC rating: anti-free speech
Rating Comments: On October 13, 2020, Stevenson and the other council members betrayed Councillor Malaiya Lucassie, passing a draconian Motion that demanded Lucassie's resignation for making the pro-life statement that "All lives matter", in contrast to the racially-divisive narrative of the Marxist Black Lives Matter cabal. This wild, knee-jerk reaction by Iqaluit City Council against one of their own members reveals their willingness to betray free speech and justice in order to kowtow to leftist ideology and propaganda. Insisting that Lucassie's fair-minded and thoughtful comments breached the City's Code of Conduct, Councillor Stevenson's condemnations were particulary extreme and almost inquisitorial (see Quotes tab).

First elected (yyyy.mm.dd): 2009
