Voting period on the Ideas Lab for Conservative EDAs to vote on all the policy resolutions that were submitted
February 13 – 28: Voting period on the Ideas Lab for Conservative EDAs to vote on all the policy resolutions that were submitted. During this period, the policy resolutions that will advance to the National Policy Convention on March 18th will be selected by the counting the total number of votes obtained by the policies posted on the Ideas Lab. Those resolutions with the highest vote rankings will advance. The party says that the selection of resolutions for discussion at Convention is a “Two Phase” process, as developed and approved by the party’s National Policy Committee (NPC).
Phase I is a Regional Ranking based Ideas Lab votes from regions, to advance +/- 18 Submissions to Convention.
Phase II also results from the Ideas Lab voting process whereby grassroots members, through their EDA’s Vote to determine additional Submissions to advance.
For Convention 2021 the total number of advancements from the Ideas Lab will be approximately thirty (30).
