Sign a petition to uphold doctors' conscience rights!

Dear friends,

Ontario doctors are facing the threat of being forced by the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) to participate in procedures that violate their conscience, such as abortion.

ACTION ITEM #1) SIGN THIS PETITION

• Before August 3, 2014 at midnight
•  This petition was developed by a concerned, Canadian medical doctor who is working to uphold doctors' rights to Freedom of Conscience and Religion. This action item is important because the last time the CPSO had moved to take away conscience rights in 2008, a grassroots effort opposing such restrictions caused the CPSO to back away from making such a policy change.

ACTION ITEM #2) VOTE YES IN THE CPSO'S ONLINE POLL

ACTION ITEM # 3) EMAIL YOUR COMMENTS TO THE CPSO AT [email protected]

• Urge them to uphold policy guidelines that would respect the freedom of conscience and religion of doctors in their policy entitled: "Physicians and the Human Rights Code"

The CPSO's consultation deadline is August 5, 2014.
