Life Chain Brings the Pro-Life Message to 315+ Communities
On the weekend of October 1, the 2023 Life Chain expanded into a record 315+ locations across the country. The majority of provinces had one or more new Life Chains. Quebec saw the greatest growth; the number of Life Chains there more than tripled, from 3 to 11. British Columbia, Manitoba, and Ontario also saw multiple new Life Chains spring up.
Participation appears to be steadily increasing from previous years, as well, while counter-protests are dwindling.
Local organizers and zone captains consistently reported that positive responses from passersby noticeably outweighed the negative.
At least one abortion-minded woman encountered this witness, and had a productive conversation with the local organizer. She walked away from the conversation still stating her intention to get an abortion, but with less confidence than she had initially. Please pray for “Abby.”
Post-abortive men and women are being impacted by this event too.
The 2024 Life Chain will be on Sunday, October 6.
