Athough Jonathan's responses to the PCE survey were generally affirmative of parental rights in education, he nevertheless supports, in principle, hiding student's participation in LGBT-promoting Gay Staight Alliance school clubs as a form "protecting" students from their parents' negative response. No response to CLC's 2025 Alberta municipal questionnaire.
