Rating Comments: In September 2024, after a major shake-up in the BC Conservative candidate roster due to the withdrawal of the BC United Party from the 2024 provincial election, Ms. Saran decided to leave the BC Conservatives to run as an Independent candidate in the riding.
In 2022, Dupinder was endorsed by a local pro-life leader as a municipal candidate for trustee with Surrey School District 36. Her municipal party, Parents Voice BC, took a very strong stance against woke ideology in the classroom, and in favour of parental rights in education.
