Regional Council Laura Ip

Niagara, Region of, ON
Electoral District: St. Catharines

Bio

Laura Ip
Not Supportable
Not Supportable
CLC rating: Pro-abortion
Rating Comments: In a hostile reaction to Ontario PC MPP Sam Oosterhoff's laudable pro-life aspiration that abortion will one day become "unthinkable", Regional Councillor Laura Ip wrote a series of condemnatory tweets and a corresponding letter to MPP Oosterhoff in a pathetic attempt to justify her own abortion. The May 2019 tweets parodied the word "unthinkable" in a litany of difficulties and fears that Councillor Ip used to justify the killing of her unborn child by abortion (see quotes tab).

Given that abortion is a controversial practice that many taxpayers in your city/municipality find abhorrent, do you agree that PP and its affiliates should not receive taxpayer funds through the city/municipality? --
Do you acknowledge that human life begins at conception (fertilization)? --
Do you consider yourself pro-life or pro-choice? Pro-choice (per public statement)
