Rating Comments: In response to CLC's 2022 election survey sent to Kari by a pro-life voter, she did not divulge her own position on abortion, but did defend the continued funding of Planned Parenthood and similar abortion-referral organizations with taxpayer money. The logic she used of why they ought to continue being funded, even if someone disagrees with their advocacy of in-utero child murder, is because, she (wrongly) believes that those organization also offer prenatal care, counselling to help women keep their babies, and obstetric and midwife referrals. However, CLC knows that numerous investigations into Planned Parenthood's claims of providing non-controversial services such as pap smears and life-affirming counselling has turned out to be totally bogus. Analysis of Planned Parenthood's business shows that they focus almost exclusively on abortion, and generally do not offer, or offer very little, of the services that everyone would agree with. On a more positive note, Ms. Williams wrote that she strongly opposes censorship laws (or bylaws) to strip pro-life Canadians of their constitutional right to peacefully protest outside abortion facilities, and would defend that right even if she didn't agree with the views of those protesting.
