Rating Comments: Refused to answer CLC's 2019 election questionnaire, therefore her stance on life issues is not yet known. She also refused to answer our 2018 provincial questionnaire when she ran for the PC Party of Ontario.
During the 2019 federal election campaign, a prospective voter asked her to complete CLC's election questionnaire. Musarat insisted she would NOT publicly take any public position on abortion, but tried to convince the voter that she is "personally" pro-life.
It is notable that during the 2018 provincial election campaign in Ontario, Musarat retweeted Doug Ford's tweet, apparently in celebration, announcing that the pro-life/pro-family Tanya Granic Allen had been unceremoniously ousted as the democratically-elected PC candidate for Mississauga Centre. That is not a good omen with respect to having hope that Musarat herself is socially conservative.
