Rating Comments: Ellerton is an openly homosexual-activist who champions normalization of the gay lifestyle. In media interviews, he has mischarcterized Russia's pro-family law as persecuting homosexuals. In fact, that law merely sought to protect minor children from unhealthy influences and propaganda including non-traditional sexual lifestyles, drug abuse, alcohol abuse and other potential harms to minor children. The Russian law in fact did not make the gay lifestyle illegal in any way. Ellerton has not yet responded to CLC's 2014 election questionnaire.
