Rating Comments: Trustee Kevin Morrison voted against a life-affirming motion which proposed that TCDSB schools fly the International Pro-life Flag throughout the month of May, while at the same time telling The Catholic Register newspaper that he strongly defended flying the anti-Catholic LGBT Pride flag – forever – stating that it "cannot be undone". He also told an interviewer with the Toronto Star that the effort to promote the International Pro-life Flag was a “complete waste of our time” and “absolutely bizarre".

| Motion to fly the International Pro-Life Flag at the TCDSB This wonderful pro-life and truly Catholic motion, introduced by faithful TCDSB Trustee Mike Del Grande and seconded by Trustee Garry Tanuan, sought to have the International Pro-Life Flag fly throughout the entire month of May at the Catholic Education Centre and at every TCDSB school; to offically express support for the annual National March for Life in Ottawa; and to commit the TCDSB curriculum to focus exclusively on pro-life studies on the date, and for the duration, of the National March for Life. Outrageously, this motion was defeated by a vote of 8 opposed and 2 in favour, with 2 other Trustees being absent, on April 23, 2024. |

| Motion to approve the work plan of TCDSB staff to develop a Human Rights Plan This motion was to authorize school board staff to develop a Human Rights Policy for the TCDSB. However, the staff's work plan documents made it clear that they planned to create a Human Rights Policy for the TCDSB that would align with the secular ideologies and values of the Ontario Government's Human Rights Code, which includes the fabricated, anti-Catholic categories of "sexual orientation", "gender identity", and "gender expression" in its list of human rights.
