The anti-life crowd strikes again. But the Trost Campaign meets the challenge.

Bowing to pressure from anti-life agitators, the public library where pro-life Conservative Leadership candidate Brad Trost was to hold his Meet 'n Greet this Saturday, January 28th has banned the meeting from its premises.

The Alice Turner Branch Library in Saskatoon notified the Trost Campaign by letter of their decision to cancel Trost's appearance there, citing the "controversial nature" of the meeting, the library's policy regarding free speech, and concerns over security. But the Trost Campaign is taking action.
 

In response to the library's discriminatory act, Trost stated that “Cancelling this earnest discussion of policy because protesters threaten violence isn’t just anti-Christian, it’s anti-democratic”. He also asked, “Could you imagine the uproar if the City of Saskatoon cancelled a pro-choice event because the Catholic Church objected?”

Due to being ejected from the public library, the Trost Campaign has had to find a alternate venue for their Meet 'n Greet session. The event will now take place at the Sandman Hotel Saskatoon (see full details below).

In light of this trampling of the free speech of social conservatives, we urge CLC supporters all the more to attend the relocated "Meet 'n Greet" event for Brad Trost. Don't miss this great opportunity to hear about Brad's vision for the Party and for Canada, and to pose questions about his policies and positions on various issues that are important to you.
