Media Advisory: Ontarians to rally against taxpayer funding of abortion at Queen’s Park
TORONTO, March 18, 2013 - On Tuesday, March 19, 2013, taxpayers from across the province will gather at Queen’s Park to rally against the government’s policy on forcing taxpayers to subsidize elective abortions in the province. Speakers will testify to the economic drain that abortion has on taxpayers and why tax dollars should stop paying for a procedure that is medically unnecessary while genuine areas of healthcare are cash-starved. At the rally, an official defund abortion petition containing thousands of signatures (from every riding in the province) will be dropped off for every MPP at the Ontario Legislature.
When: Tuesday March 19, 2013 from 12 noon – 2 pm
Where: Queen’s Park in front of the Ontario Legislature, Toronto
Who: The main organizers, Campaign Life Coalition Youth (CLCY), a division of Campaign Life Coalition, will be joining concerned taxpayers from across the province
